Obituary: Rogelio "Roger" B. Carmona, 67, of Stratford
Roger was an employee of Sikorsky Aircraft/Lockheed Martin for over 32 years. He was an avid auto enthusiast and a devoted family man.

STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Rogelio (Roger) B. Carmona, age 67, of Stratford, beloved husband of Dena Marino Carmona, passed away suddenly in his home on February 7, 2022. Roger was born in Puerto Rico on April 15, 1954, caring son of Ana Luz Carmona and has been a longtime area resident.
He was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft now Lockheed Martin for over 32 years.
Roger loved his trucks, Harley Davidson’s, working on cars, cooking for his wife and his most recent hobby, learning how to play guitar.
Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 40 years, include his devoted children, Walter (Butch) Carmona and his wife Catherine of Stratford, Matthew Carmona of Dallas Tx, and Eric Carmona of Stratford. Mother, Ana Luz Carmona, sisters Mercedes Belardo Carmona Luisa (Hiram) Belardo Diaz and brother Jorge (Aimaira) Belardo Carmona as well as several nieces and nephews all of Puerto Rico, sisters-in-law, Terri Lynn Marino of Simpsonville, SC, Jonni Gayle (Kenneth) Messenger of Middlebury, Alisa Marino of North Branford, brothers-in-law, Gary (Kathy) Marino of Shelton and Michael (Maria) Marino of Stratford as well as several nieces and nephews.
With great sadness he also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren who he loved very much.
Quinn, Lucia and Tate Carmona of Stratford, Kiyana and Kaidin Carmona of Austin, Tx and his newest granddaughter to be born in April, Khloe Carmona. Roger’s two “best friends” his dogs Bella and Tux will miss him greatly.
He was predeceased by his father, Rogelio Belardo-Rivera, brother, Rafael Ortiz Carmona of Puerto Rico. father and mother-in-law, Don and Thelma Marino and brother-in-law, Jaimie Marino of Stratford, and nephews, Kristopher Marino and Sean Calderon.
A memorial service will be planned for the summer when all of his family can be here to attend. Service will be entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford.
