Stratford Police: Local woman tried to collect ex's annuity.

STRATFORD – One local woman is facing larceny and forgery charges after police say she tried to take a $66,000 annuity left to her late ex's first wife. 

The Hartford Courant reports that Valerie Clayton-Jamison, 56, of Stratford, was arrested last week for trying to collect a $66,000 annuity, which was left to her ex-husband Michael Jamison's first wife and son.

She is charged with attempt to commit first-degree larceny and second-degree forgery, The Hartford Courant reports.
