Popeyes Might Be Coming to Stratford
The new franchise is still pending approval, but it could open it's doors as early as November and could lead to a lot of new jobs.

Rahman Hashimi, franchise owner of four Connecticut Popeyes Chicken restaurants and one in Port Chester, New York, wants to open another one of his franchises in Stratford, according to the Stratford Star.
The proposal was brought up at the Stratford Zoning Commission on its June 30 meeting and, if approved, the restaurant would be built in The Dock Shopping Center, the Star reported.
It will seat 46 people in a 2,200-square-foot space that will include a drive-through, and the owner is hoping to hire local people to fill about 60 employment positions, the Star reported.
