Gary Charles DePeano Sr., 75, died July 28, 2025. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran who worked over 20 years for the Department of Corrections and ran his own flooring business for 40 years, and enjoyed home improvement projects, trips to casinos, Yankees and Giants games, and family meals.

Jane Nicholas Birge, 96, died July 30, 2025. A Yale Sterling Memorial Library employee, who later became a member of the Stratford Library Board, enjoyed swimming, golf, skiing, horse racing, bowling, traveling to Ireland and New England, long walks, and dining out.
Denis Webb, who died Aug. 2, 2025, was the owner of Dobby’s Men’s Shop in Stratford Center and enjoyed annual trips to Maine, cheering for the Yankees, Rangers, Giants, and Notre Dame, watching old westerns, and spending time with his grandson Dylan and his dog Molly.

Elizabeth P. (Rindos) McNamara, 89, died Aug. 2, 2025. A stay-at-home mom who raised her three girls in Stratford, she enjoyed knitting, bingo, bowling, gardening, birdwatching, beach walks, traveling, dining out, watching game shows, and making homemade lasagna and potato salad.
Joyce Catherine Tuliano, 81, died Aug. 4, 2025. A kind soul who loved everyone unconditionally, her greatest joy in life was her family and the holidays she spent with them making memories.
