Rep. Dancho Receives Committee Assignments For Legislative Session

STRATFORD, CT — On January 4th, State Representative Laura Dancho (R-120) was officially sworn in at the opening-day ceremonies of the 2023 Legislative Session. Additionally, each member of the General Assembly also received their legislative committee assignments and ranking member appointments.

In her first swearing in ceremony as a state representative, Rep. Dancho was assigned to serve on the Transportation Committee, Environment Committee, and Finance Committee. As a member of a legislative committee, Rep. Dancho will be responsible for actively participating in committee meetings where she will be able to directly influence the legislative process concerning these issues.

"I truly am so honored to have been elected to represent the hardworking residents and families of Stratford," said Rep. Dancho. "Today, I was proud to be surrounded by my family, my close friends and mentors, and all of my new colleagues in the General Assembly.
