Road Closure Announced In Stratford

Officials are advising motorists of a road closure that will be in effect for a construction project in Stratford.

STRATFORD, CT — Mayor Laura Hoydick is advising residents of a road closure that will be in effect through Dec. 24 in Stratford.

Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 10, through Dec. 24, Main Street Putney will be closed to through traffic for a sewer construction project, Hoydick wrote in a post on Facebook.

Northbound and Southbound traffic should use River Road (Route 110).

To access Chapel Street or Whippoorwill Lane, please use Main Street Putney from the south intersection at River Road.

If coming from Chapel Street or Whippoorwill Lane and wanting to go north, drive south to the River Road intersection and turn left onto River Road to travel north.

Meadowmere Road will have local traffic access from the north intersection of River Road
