Road Remains Closed In Stratford
Stratford Mayor Laura Hoydick gave an update Monday on the closure from the state Department of Transportation.
STRATFORD, CT — Route 113 remains closed from Access Road to Oak Bluff Avenue due to a sinkhole, Mayor Laura Hoydick said in an update Monday.
The airport is open and operating normally, according to Hoydick.
“According to CTDOT, contractors and equipment are in place, with bypass pipe installation beginning this week and expected to take about two weeks,” Hoydick wrote in a post on Facebook. “Permanent repairs will follow. There is no estimated completion date yet—an update will be shared once the design is finalized with the contractor. Please note, the road will not reopen in time for the July 2 fireworks.
