Family:
My spouse is Stacy, a Victim Advocate for Milford Courthouse. My stepson Link is a Criminal Justice major at University of New Haven. My son Gavin is a senior at Stratford High School. My daughter Cassidy just started kindergarten at Nichols Elementary.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
I was a board member in SVA.

Why are you seeking this office?
I was raised in the district I would represent if elected. I love it so much I've chosen to raise my family here as well. I want to strengthen Stratford through the projects that will be presented to me. I want to make sure all things in Stratford help the community as a whole from residential to business. I want to keep predatory developers from getting authority for projects that only benefit them and may hinder our town or make life more difficult for our communities.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Cost of living. I hope to approve projects that will bring revenue to the town for its residents that will help ease any burdens of living and maybe even bring down costs in the long run.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I'm new to politics and believe I bring a fresher and more moderate perspective to the table.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
General Statutes § 8-30g affordable housing law. Part of this requires each town to have 10% affordable housing. While this sounds good on a paper it leaves Stratford vulnerable to predatory developers who would build and donate a small portion of the units built to be affordable housing while being too little a contribution to equal up the 10% set by the state of Connecticut. Stratford is currently at roughly 6.5 % already. I also want to educate people on what affordable housing really is as considered by the law and not necessarily the price it's set at, but whether it's state or federal assisted living.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have always worked against the grain to get what I want. Including my college degree, my job as a global IT Analyst, my house raising three kids. While I'm still new to politics I have learned to never turn my back on a challenge and fought my way to achieve a comfortable life which I see as no small feat in this age.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
'If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. It's the hard that makes it great.' My 8th grade Chorus teacher Ms. Spadaccino. I know she stole it from Tom Hanks but it's always stuck with me.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I'm very moderate and always want to hear what everybody has to say. I believe even if you don't like a concept or a position there is something to learn by listening to it. We all have different lives, thoughts and backgrounds which have made us the people we are and should all be heard. Also, I always wanted to be a super hero since I was child which I know is more than common. I feel that serving my community is a way to achieve that. Super heroes always put themselves aside to help others and that's what I'm here to do!
