Stratford EMS Members Help Make Special Delivery With Baby Girl At Home

Members of the Stratford Emergency Medical Service made a special delivery when they helped deliver a baby girl at a home.

STRATFORD, CT — Members of the Stratford Emergency Medical Service made a special delivery Sunday when they helped deliver a baby girl at a home in Bridgeport.

Stratford Public Safety Communications received a mutual aid call from the City of Bridgeport for a maternity emergency early Sunday morning, according to a post on the Stratford EMS Facebook page.

“Stratford EMS EMTs Clark & Wittenberger, alongside the Bridgeport Fire Department, jumped into action — and together helped deliver a healthy baby girl right at home!” officials wrote in the post on Facebook. “Huge congratulations to the new parents and a big shout-out to all the crews for their teamwork and professionalism in safely bringing new life into the world.”
