Stratford Initiates Warming Center Protocol
The town has activated its warming center protocol after receiving a Severe Cold Weather Advisory from the state, officials announced.
STRATFORD, CT — (From the Mayor’s Office): The Town of Stratford has initiated its Warming Center protocol upon receiving a Severe Cold Weather Advisory notice from the State of Connecticut. This protocol is in effect through 12 noon on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
All warming centers will be posted and updated under the State of Connecticut WebEOC site and network. For immediate long-term and overnight sheltering, residents should contact the 211 system by dialing 2-1-1.
