Stratford Man Left Scene of Crash: Wilton Police

WILTON, CT — A Stratford man was arrested in Wilton after he left the scene of a crash on Millstone Drive. Police say they arrested Miguel Morales, 21, after he was seen leaving the scene of the crash at around 11 a.m. on June 7. Morales' Ford Econoline was found on a nearby street with damage consistent with the crash, police say.

Morales told police he didn't realized he caused any damage because he didn't see it when he was leaving. He said he was on the street, and turned around, but left when he realized he was on the wrong street. He further told police he had blind spots in the van due to equipment he was carrying.

He was arrested and charged with evading evading responsibility. He is due in court on June 19.
