Stratford Raises Flag for National Donate Life Month
'Becoming a donor is one of the most generous decisions a person can make to help others," said Mayor Harkins.

Mayor John A. Harkins announced that Stratford Wednesday joined more than 85 Connecticut municipalities, hospitals and organizations promoting organ and tissue donation awareness by flying flags that read “Donation Saves Lives” during April, National Donate Life Month.
Connecticut’s flag flying campaign is part of a national initiative, Flags Across America, to honor and celebrate the hundreds of thousands of donors and recipients whose lives have been affected by organ and tissue donation.
