Stratford Star Athlete Is ‘Epitome Of A Student-Athlete-Leader’

STRATFORD, CT — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Paige is the epitome of a student-athlete-leader. Once she joined the XC team, she immediately established herself as one of the top runners, as well as a supportive teammate. She encourages her teammates through every practice and meet, and by example pushes everyone to go beyond what they think they can do.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

She is constantly striving to better her own times, but never loses sight of the spirit of sportsmanship. She never hesitates to jump into an active leadership role when she sees one is needed. She pushes herself in the classroom, where she excels as well. Paige is more than worthy of the title of athlete of the month.
