Stratford Yard Waste/Large Item Pickup Information
Pickup for yard waste will begin April 8, and pickup for large items will start May 1.
As we roll into spring cleaning, you might want to jot down these two dates.
April 8 is when the town will start picking up yard waste. The pickups will occur every other week the day after recycling, according to a Stratford Public Works employee.
May 1 is when the town will begin picking up large items. An appointment is required and residents are only given one a year. "People may call at the end of April to book appointments for May," explains Diane, the public works employee.
