Stratford's 375th Anniversary Celebration Kicks Off April 6

Spring has sprung. And that means it's time to gear up to celebrate Stratford's historic past, present and future. 

Stratford’s 375th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration will be held on Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m. at the Perry House at 1128 West Broad Street.  

Ribbon Cutting

A ribbon cutting will be held for Perry House’ addition of a handicapped bathroom, all-purpose room and commercial kitchen.  

At the kickoff event, the Perry House Foundation will be giving historical tours of the homestead by costumed docents.  

Also, the Grand Marshall for the September 20th parade will be announced.  

Perry House Foundation

The Perry House is managed by the Perry House Foundation. Not only is Stratford celebrating its 375th Anniversary, but the foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. 

The foundation is a non-profit organization; and the mission is to preserve, protect and enhance the historic property known as the Perry House and provide educational and cultural programs that interpret the past for present and future generations, while promoting appreciation for the historic, commercial, social and recreation resources of the Town of Stratford.

Stratford Restaurant Week

And, April 6 is also the start of Stratford’s first restaurant week.  It begins at 5 p.m on the 6th and runs through to April 12.  

Each restaurant will have a prix fixe menu of either $16.39 per person or $37.50 per person.
