As part of the Town of Suffield’s pavement management program, road reconstruction including limited drainage improvements will be starting on the following roads: Bridge Street; Suffield Meadow Drive; Phelps Road from Copper Hill Road to 2,500 feet east; and Spruce Street from Hill Street to North Grand Street.
Road work will include recycling existing pavement and base material and installing 3-inch thick pavement with flat style curbing. Drainage work will include replacement of some cross culverts, installation of piped drainage and subdrain systems and replacement of existing catch basin tops.
The projects, scheduled for a duration of four months, are being coordinated through the Town Engineer’s office (860-668-3876).
