Businesswomen Conference Features Keynote Speaker from Suffield
The Business Women of Southern New England organization is presenting Business Resources for Women on Friday in East Windsor.

The Business Women of Southern New England (BWSNE) organization is sponsoring Business Resources for Women, a professional development conference, in East Windsor on Friday.
The conference, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., features Gloria Smith, president of Suffield’s Zanger Company, and known as the "Polish Pottery Lady" as the keynote speaker. Her presentation is called “Reinventing yourself and your career — Woman’s Work.”
Eight other presenters will discuss a range of issues, including multi-generational communication, networking, self-promotion and health and wellness, related to women in business.

"I believe during our lifetime, we are students and teachers simultaneously,” Zanger said in a press release from the BWSNE. “This will be an important day for those who attend."
A fee of $25 helps the BWSNE pay for the food served at the conference and for the venue. The conference’s sponsor, Rockville Bank, assumes the rest of the costs.

The conference will take place at the Clarion Hotel at 161 Bridge Street in East Windsor.
