Feb. 27: Snow in the Forecast
Rain, snow and a wintry mix are in store for Suffield and the surrounding area through Monday night.
1. Look for snow before noon and rain afterward as the storm tapers off. It will be cloudy today, with a high temperature of 37 °F. The overall chance of precipitation is 60 percent. There is also a 60 percent chance of rain, snow, sleet and freezing rain through the evening as clouds stay in the sky. The overnight low is 30 °F, according to the National Weather Service.
2. Sports Editor Matt Eagan broke down the upcoming CIAC girls basketball tournament here. Suffield is ranked 11th overall in Class M and starts tournament action against Bloomfield at Suffield High School on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
