Fire Closes Route 75 In Suffield, Police Say

Police closed South Street while fire crews worked at the scene.

SUFFIELD, CT — A structure fire shut down a stretch of Route 75 on Thursday, according to Suffield police.

The blaze broke out around 2 p.m. in a residential home at 341 South Street, according to police. No information has been released regarding possible injuries.

While fire crews worked at the scene, officers noted that only residents were permitted to enter nearby neighborhoods.
