Where/When: Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New England Air Museum.

Why Go: Climb into the cockpits of 12 vintage aircraft, including helicopters, a World War II-era Corsair and a DC-3, along with three flight simulators.
Pricing: Adults pay $10, children, from age 4 through age 11, pay $6, children under age 4 are free.
Where/When: Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. at the in Windsor.
Why Go: Children in fourth grade through eighth grade can dive into chocolatey delights and beverages.

Why Go: Enjoy some open ice time with the family at a spacious, high quality facility.
Pricing: Admission costs $7 and skate rental costs $3.

Where/When: Feb. 16 through Feb. 20, (show times vary) at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts.
Why Go: Who doesn't love Shrek and his hilarious sidekick, Donkey? See the action, sights and sounds play out live at the Bushnell this weekend.
Pricing: Tickets range from $17 to $75.
