March 11: Flood Warning

1. Rainfall between three-quarters of an inch and 1 inch is expected today, with rain mostly falling before 3 p.m. The high temperature today is 55 °F. Rain, and possibly snow, are expected in the evening as well, although the chance of precipitation is only 30 percent. The overnight low is 33 °F, according to the National Weather Service.

2. There is a Flood Warning in effect for the Connecticut River today. Be careful near the water and take extra precautions when letting children play outside.
