1. There is a 20 percent chance of rain early this morning. The clouds will clear and it will be partly sunny during the day, with a high temperature of 50 °F. It will be partly cloudy in the evening. The overnight low is 26°F, according to the National Weather Service.

2. The Suffield Board of Finance approved the four bonding projects presented to them by the Board of Selectmen. A Town Meeting will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. to vote on the projects. The projects that pass will then be voted on in a town-wide referendum.

3. A fire broke out in a home on River Boulevard late Wednesday night. The home suffered severe damage and was condemned on Thursday morning.

4. Suffield Middle School student Mason Beiter was honored as the national winner of the ABA (American Bankers Association) Education Foundation’s “Lights, Camera, Save!” video contest on Thursday. Mason won a $3,000 savings bond with his entry “LEGO Your Spending and Start Saving.”

5. Manchester Patch Editor David Moran went to 40th Annual Greater Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday and put together an impressive photo gallery.
