Suffield Farmers Market Returns on June 17

The Farmers Market will be available every weekend through October and will have the original vendors starting June 17.

From Suffield's Farmers Market: Suffield’s Farmers Market kicks off its 2017 summer season on Saturday, June 17th. We have our original familiar vendors Bielonko Farm, Cupola Hollow, Easy Pickin’s, Maplewood Farms, and Merry Mite Wild Gardens, who continue to provide a wide assortment of locally grown fresh fruits, produce and an array of products. Returning again this summer are some of our newer vendors, Things by Jeannie with yarn products, Kerri Michaud-Begley with her Heart Stone pottery, Terrariums by Suffield Agriscience graduate Grace Artioli, and Cindy Stoecker with farm themed children’s books, games, and puppets. Brand new to the market this season are D.C. Farm with a full line of maple syrup products, Organic Solutions with lotions, sprays, and balms, Agriscience student Emily Fabrizi with her original note cards and drawings, and Trista Leanesio selling succulent plants and containers. Adding to the community event, Kent Memorial Library will have a “Pop up Library” on the Green as a new feature with games and activities for children.

The Market is held rain or shine on Saturday from 9am to 12noon on the south Town Green, conveniently located in the center of town. The Market will run through Columbus Day weekend in October.

Come join this weekly community event where you can meet the farmers that grow your food. Support “Locally Grown”!
