Winter Holiday Blood Drive Planned In Suffield

SUFFIELD, CT — Residents are encouraged to give back this holiday season by donating blood at a Winter Holiday Blood Drive in Suffield, organizers say.

The blood drive will take place on Monday, December 29th, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 100 Main St., Suffield. The American Red Cross hosts the event with support from the Suffield Lions Club, according to a social media post from the organizers.

Blood donations are needed year-round, and the need often increases during the holidays, according to the Red Cross.

Appointments can be made through the American Red Cross, and walk-ins may be accepted if space is available, organizers say.
