The Suffield Athletic Department will hold its third annual 5k race Saturday morning, with all proceeds benefitting Camden's Crusade and the Talamini/Soucy families.
This past April, 5-year-old Camden Soucy was diagnosed with stage four neurobastoma with metastasis.
According to CamdensCrusade.com, a website set up to provide friends, family members and supporters with information regarding Camden's fight against cancer, Camden and his family have been left with "no options other than to aggressively treat this widespread cancer with intensive chemotherapy, bone marrow transplant and radiation therapy for a minimum of 13 months."
To support Camden's fight, you can enter Saturday's 5k race, which also includes a munchkin mile and stroller ride, for $20.
Registration ends at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The race will take place at Suffield High School.
