UPDATE: East Haddam's Fairies at the Farm Now Full

Only two spaces left for Fairies at the Farm as of 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 11. The event is taking place at Ray of Light Farm, 232 Town St., East Haddam. The 3rd annual Fairy Party will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 26.

The farm will offer lunch for sale from noon to 1 p.m. Staff write:

"We will have many activities, including decorating wings, making a floral crown, decorating a wand, decorating a fairy house, make-up and nail polish, dancing and other fun! We will have a fairy parade around the farm led by our pony cart. We will also hold a silent auction."

Participation is limited to the first 25 paid participants and the event is rain or shine. Cost to attend is $30 per person. All proceeds will be donated to the farm.

Children who attend need to wear a skirt of shorts, a shirt and shoes, organizers said. Staff will provide wings, wands and crowns.

To sign up, one may call (860) 873-1895 or visit the farm. Sign-up for the event cannot be done online and you may pay by check or credit card (via phone only). Checks may be made payable to Ray of Light Farm and mailed to: Barbara Reynolds, P.O. Box 262, Centerbrook, CT 06409.

There are no age restrictions. Parents must stay.
