1. After being temporarily closed for several months, local bakery Andie's Cookies Cafe announced that it will not reopen and will officially be closing. The Rockwell Foundation is currently seeking nominations for the 2023 Environmental Champion Awards, which are awarded to individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses that impact the Lower Connecticut River Valley with their environmental efforts. 3. Despite crops coming in slowly, Killingworth's Parmelee Farm expects to open its weekly market in mid-July. Once open, the markets will take place on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and are open to all.
