1. Tickets are on sale now for the 14th annual Haddam-Killingworth Hall of Fame induction dinner, which celebrates residents in the community who embody what it means to be a local Hall Of Famer. This year six residents will be inducted at the celebration, which is set for May 12 at 6 p.m. at The River House in Haddam. (New Haven Register)

3. President Joe Biden plans to ban Russian oil imports in the United States. This decision is expected to drive gas prices even higher in Connecticut, where they're already averaging $4.28 a gallon. (Patch)
