The following information was provided by the Troop F press log located at their barracks in Westbrook, CT. The charges are not a finding of guilt. The people who have been arrested are entitled to due process during which it will be the government's burden to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. According to a Troop F police report, two men were seen fighting by State Police in the upper parking lot of the Haddam Neck Fairgrounds around 11 PM the night of August 30.  While no injuries were reported, both men involved, 22-year-old Michael Affinito, of East Hampton, and 21-year-old Matthew James Cogswell of Durham, were arrested. They were both charged with Breach of Peace.
