- The United States Coast Guard announced that, as of Sunday, the search for a former local police officer has been suspended. The search for former East Hartford Police Officer Ryan Proulx began when he was reported missing after last being known free diving in the Bahamas near the Bimini Barge Wreck. The Coast Guard announced that the air unit searched for more than six hours over 673 square miles; the wreck is about one and a half miles from the Bimini Inlet. (NBC Connecticut)
- Connecticut Water, which serves The Haddams and Killingworth among other local cities, announced it has fixed water quality issues in nearby Old Lyme's Miami Beach water system. According to a 2016 survey, the Connecticut Department of Public Health found "significant deficiencies" that were carried over into CT Water's acquisition of the water system in 2022. The Miami Beach area's water is now subject to the same standards and treatment processes as other area cities. (Lymeline)
