The Haddam Garden Club is offering a $500 scholarship Haddam-Killingworth graduating seniors who are planning to pursue higher education in any of the following majors: agronomy, botany, conservation, environmental studies, floriculture, forestry, horticulture, land management, landscape design, plant pathology or related subjects. 2. Pain at the pump is being felt throughout Connecticut. According to AAA, the average price of gas in CT Saturday was $4.07 a gallon, compared to a national average of $3.92 a gallon.(NBC Connecticut)
