What does the nominee do for work?:
He is a postal worker who works the front counter dealing with the public

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
He has gone into work every day since this started. He was going above and beyond cleaning up to make sure it was sanitized.

He’s working with the public making sure their mail and packages are sent out daily and get to their destinations. They seemed to be overlooked in the beginning and finally received some protection from the public. It’s been very stressful for him working with the public and going home to his wife and daughter daily.

Wayne and his wife Cheryl are also taking care of our aunt who just started receiving hospice care.

Even with all that’s going on he goes into work smiling everyday and try’s to bring some peace to others knowing their packages will get to where they need to go. With everything being ordered on line daily the job of the postal workers has increased.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Wayne is a great guy! I’m so proud of him for being a part of the essential team members who’s getting out there every day to keep his town moving forward. He gets the job done and gives his best to the public in the town of Clinton.
