Haddam, Killingworth's Rainy and Foggy Weather Forecast

It's shaping up to be a wet and gloomy start to the month. We'll let you know what to expect as Mother's Day approaches.

April showers bring May... showers? Seems so, if you check out the National Weather Service forecast for the next week. We're looking at eight days of rain to kick off May.

Here is the latest 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service, which includes Mother’s Day weekend:

  • Monday: Some showers and thunderstorms until around 5 p.m. Foggy. Temps will be colder, in the mid-50s.
  • Monday night: Rain into the late night and early morning hours, with more fog and temps holding near 50 degrees.
  • Tuesday: Rain early, fog possible, temps near 60 degrees. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible.
  • Tuesday night: More showers, fog and temps in the upper 40s.
  • Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, slight chance for showers and temps near 60.
  • Wednesday night: Another chance for showers and temps in the upper 40s.
  • Thursday: Mostly cloudy and a less than 50-percent chance of showers. Temps near 60.
  • Friday: Mostly cloudy and a chance for more showers. Temps in the low-60s.

Mother’s Day Weekend:

  • Slight chance of showers both days but the sun may make an appearance. Temps in the mid-60s to near 70 in northern Connecticut.
