Haddam Town Meeting to be Held August 15
Voting will take place to reappoint the Haddam/Killingworth Recreation Authority and accept an ordinance on Permanent Drainage, Detention Basin and Fire Tank Water Storage Easements from DBP, LLC.
The following is a Legal Notice from the Town of Haddam:
The electors and citizens qualified to vote at Town Meetings are hereby warned and notified there will be a Town Meeting held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 6:30 P.M. at the Town Hall, 21 Field Park Drive, Haddam, CT for the following purpose.
1. To vote to reappoint the Haddam/Killingworth Recreation Authority for one year beginning July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014.
2. Ordinance to Accept Permanent Drainage, Detention Basin and Fire Tank Water Storage Easements from DBP, LLC in Favor of the Town of Haddam.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Meeting of the Town of Haddam that the Town is hereby authorized, through its First Selectman, to accept conveyance of permanent drainage, detention basin and fire tank water storage easements in and on property known as 1564-1572 Saybrook Road (Rte. 154), Haddam, Connecticut all as depicted on a map Entitled “RECORD SUBDIVISION MAP PREPARED FOR DBP LLC 1564-1572 SAYBROOK ROAD (RT 154) HADDAM, CONNECTICUT,” recorded or to be recorded on the land records of the
Town of Haddam to which reference may be had.
This ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days following publication in a newspaper having a general circulation in the Town of Haddam.
