Killingworth's 'A Place Called Hope' Plans Nature Festival

This nature-themed event is for the whole family.

Killingworth’s Raptor Rehabilitation and Education Center, A Place Called Hope, will be sponsoring a Nature Festival on Sunday June 9th.

The event will be held at the Chester Meeting House, 4 Liberty Street in Chester from 12pm - 6pm.

There will be activities for all ages including nature workshops, music, food, crafts, vendors, environmental information booths and CT Wildlife nature presentations.

Attendance is by donations and there is no charge for activities. All proceeds and donations will go toward constructing a Bald Eagle Aviary at A Place Called Hope’s Center.
