The Greater Middletown Chorale was founded in 1977 and is currently a 75-member choral organization navigating a period of dynamic growth and change. The organization is hiring its first Managing Director to provide a business focus for the Chorale and to work in partnership with the Artistic Director to direct day-to-day operations of the organization. Both positions report to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. GMC is searching for an entrepreneurial, business-focused Managing Director with experience in fundraising, volunteer management and leading small organizations, preferably in the arts/culture/heritage sector. The Managing Director will direct operations and finance, support the Board in fundraising and corporate relations, manage marketing, and be responsible for advocacy, facilities, human resources and community engagement.
