- The Haddam Historical Society has announced that scholarship applications are now available. The Haddam Historical Society is offering a $500 scholarship to a resident of Haddam, Higganum, or Haddam Neck who is a senior student at Haddam-Killingworth High School. (Facebook)
- Did you know that Connecticut has the seventh oldest population in the nation? In an effort to address that situation and help both the young and old in Middlesex County communities such as the Haddams and Killingworth, the UR Community Cares grant is being used to connect volunteers with older, disabled residents. - Connecticut electric customers reportedly pay the highest monthly bills in the country outside of Hawaii? To combat this phenomenon, a bill is being proposed by the leadership of the Energy and Technology Committee. (CT Examiner)
