Time For New Killingworth Transfer Station Stickers

It's time to renew your car window sticker to enter the Killingworth transfer facility.

My how time flies! It's been three years since the green "dump" stickers were issued to Killingworth residents. Now, green is out and blue is in.Β

As of today, May 1, residents can get their new blue stickers (each household is entitled to two) that will be valid for the next three years. Β

TheΒ stickers, which are affixed to your vehicle's windshield, allow Killingworth residents free access to the town's transfer station on Route 81. Obtaining a sticker is free, as well.Β

There are two ways to get your new sticker(s): in person atΒ the Tax Collector's Office in Town Hall, Monday through FridayΒ from 9am-4pm.Β  Or in person at the Transfer Station when it is open (Tuesdays 2pm-7pm; Thursdays 2pm-7pm or Saturdays 8am-2pm).Β

You'll need to showΒ your vehicle registration to get a sticker as well as complete a short written application. Β Applications are available to download and printΒ on the town's websiteΒ if you wish to fill one out ahead of time.Β

As always, please remember to remove the stickers from your vehicle(s) if you sell it.
