  1. Some Killingworth residents are upset about the fact that the request for $5,400 for the purpose of Town Hall paying for their space in the Killingworth Krier was voted down by the selectmen in January. In response, the Killingworth Krier committee started a petition it is asking Killingworth residents to sign, to support the Killingworth Krier. (Facebook)
  2. Save the Sound is calling on the Connecticut Yankee Council of the Boy Scouts of America to take a $2.4 million offer for a 255-acre Deer Lake property and reject a $4.6 million offer from a private developer. (Patch)
  3. It's that time of year again for the Lower CT River Valley Council of Governments (RiverCog) Spring 2022 Community Compost Bin and Rain Barrel Sale. Composting is a great way to reduce trash going to landfills and incinerators and make your own compost and rain barrels can help reduce water costs and provide a natural source of water for plants and gardens. (RiverCOG)
  4. Connecticut lawmakers imposed a moratorium on new nuclear facilities in 1979, when four operating nuclear reactors were providing power to the state. Only two of those reactors remain operational today, both at Millstone. A new bill would lift the moratorium at existing nuclear facilities and allow the state's first new reactors in decades to be built at Millstone. (CT Insider)
