Book Launch Party At Lyme Public Library Tonight

The Book Launch Party for Death's Door, the seventh novel in the popular Billy Boyle World War II mystery series, will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Lyme Public Library, 482 Hamburg Road, in Lyme.

Author James R. Benn will be giving a book talk and signing copies of his latest book, which was published September 4. Death's Door is set within occupied Rome in 1944, with military investigator Lt. Billy Boyle infiltrating neutral Vatican City territory disguised as an Irish priest.

Death's Door has already garnered excellent reviews. Booklist described Death's Door as having "the most intriguing premise yet, teeming with dramatic possibilities. Vatican City proves a compelling setting, awash in internal politics and straddling gingerly its tenuous status as neutral territory. The history and the many real-life characters add up to great reading."
