Closures, Cancellations, and Travel Disruptions for East Lyme, Old Lyme, and Lyme

To encourage people to stay home and off the roads as Hurricane Sandy hits today and tomorrow, many businesses and nonessential government agencies are closed and events canceled.

Government officials are urging everyone to stay home and stay off the roads as much as possible today. To encourage people to do just that, many businesses are closed, many nonessential workers have the day off, and it's probably safe to assume any event scheduled for today has been canceled.

Here's a list of closures and cancellations for today and tomorrow. This list, though long, is far from comprehensive so if you have somewhere to go today, call ahead to make sure the journey is necessary. If you know of other cancellations, please add them in the comments section.
