State Police are ramping up their efforts to crackdown on drunk driving over the holiday weekend. If you're planning to party like it's the end of summer, then find yourself a designated driver. State Police Troop F in Westbrook

08/31/12: Roving Patrols—Interstate 95 within Troop F patrol area

09/01/12: Roving Patrols—Route 66 in Middlefield 

09/02/12: Roving Patrols—Interstate 95/Route 9 interchange 

09/03/12: Roving Patrols—Interstate 95 in Old Lyme 

State Police Troop E in Montville

09/01/12: Roving Patrols—Routes 2, 2a, 12, 164, 165, 214, and Interstates 95 and 395 in towns of East Lyme, Groton, Lisbon, New London, North Stonington, Stonington, Waterford, Norwich, Montville, Preston, and Griswold 

09/01/12: DUI Sobriety Checkpoints—Routes 2a/32, Route 85 and Beckwith Road and Route163 and Interstate 395. This will be in conjunction with the Breath Alcohol Testing Mobil Unit.
