East Lyme Democrats Name Candidates—But Not For The Top Spot

East Lyme Democrats put forward a slate of candidates for municipal office, including three for the office of selectmen. However, East Lyme Democratic Town Committee, which had until 4 p.m. on Wednesday to finalize its list, decided not to nominate anyone for First Selectman, so incumbent Paul Formica, a Republican, won't face any Democratic challenger.

The Democratic Town Committee endorsed Selectwoman Rose Ann Hardy and Selectman Robert Wilson, both incumbents, along with a new candidate for the office of selectman, Daniel R. Cunningham.
