Feeling Peckish? Check Out The Common Loon, East Lyme's Newest Restaurant

Feeling peckish? The Common Loon, East Lyme's newest restaurant, is offering diners a sneak preview tonight, Saturday, October 20, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The open house will give people a chance to check the place out and sample some of the dishes on offer.

According to the restaurant's facebook page, the menu includes six or seven appetizers, six pasta dishes, offerings from the grill and five to six pizzas, among other things. The desserts will be made on the premises and the house coffee is fresh from Ashlawn Farm in Lyme, naturally!

"Our approach is really to support the local farmers with respect to their products...meats, fish, poultry, produce...coffee...anything we can do is designed to benefit our community and our clients (yes clients)," Jamie Oliver writes on The Common Loon's Facebook page. "We want to build relationships with all of you that come to break bread with us."
