In East Lyme
The American Red Cross is operating the Regional Emergency Shelter at East Lyme Middle School but last night, it had just 13 staff people on hand to help with about 60 people. Tonight, there will be even more people arriving—the shelter has the capacity to house 2,200 but the Red Cross will need more volunteers to handle that many people.
If you are a CERT Volunteer and are available to help, please contact Sue Bolon at (860) 460-8020. You can also contact Bolon at the Red Cross if you'd like to help out with a donation. Thank you!
