Lyme Library Has E-Book Readers and iPads for Patrons

The Lyme Public Library has Kindles, Nook Books and iPads that you can borrow.

The Lyme Public Library doesn't just offer e-books online, now it has something for you to read them on too!

The Library just acquired two Kindle e-book readers and two Nook Touch e-book readers that patrons with a valid library card can borrow for up to two weeks. The e-book readers come preloaded with best-selling titles and more will be added periodically, Library Director Theresa Conley noted in a press release.

Patrons wishing to sign out the e-readers must sign a user agreement and agree to abide by library policies before taking them home. The iPads are available for patrons to use in the library only. The purchase was funded by a grant from the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut.
