Old Lyme Police Make Arrest In School Boat Theft

In February, the Lyme-Old Lyme School District reported that three aluminium boats were missing from the storage area of the boat house at Rogers Lake in Old Lyme.

Old Lyme Police Officer Thomas Heinssen investigated the case and on July 9, made an arrest. James Bohara, 29, of 33 Kelsey Avenue, Old Lyme, was charged with three counts of larceny in the 4th degree. The warrant was served as Bohara was appearing in New London GA 10 Court. He was in court facing charges in a different case at the time.  

DWI Arrest  

Kaitlin Carey, 23, of 145 Abbe Road, South Windsor, was stopped on Swan Avenue on Old Lyme for motor vehicle violations and was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a $1,000 bond.
