Old Lyme's Jim Lampos to perform at Sailfest on Sunday
This nationally known musician has just released his 7th CD, "Grand Illumination." Catch him in concert at the Hygienic Art Park Stage on Bank Street, New London, this weekend.

Old Lyme musician Jim Lampos has just released his 7th CD, "Grand Illumination", and will be making his 7th annual appearance at SAILFEST on Sunday at the Hygienic Art Park Stage on Bank Street, New London, at 12:45 p.m. (Admission is free.)
Jim Lampos is an acoustic rock and Americana artist known for his insightful lyrics and well-honed fingerstyle guitar. His previous CDs and concert appearances have received strong reviews from the national press, including New York Newsday, The Village Voice, The New Orleans Times Picayune, The Clarion-Ledger and the Virginian-Pilot.
He has toured widely, and been featured at The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Nashville’s Tin Pan South. In New York City, he has headlined top rooms such as The Mercury Lounge, The Hard Rock Café, and CBGB.
His records have received airplay on over 300 radio stations, including NPR, and have charted on the CMJ Americana and AAA surveys. "The Grand Illumination" is currently receiving airplay on AAA and Americana stations nationally.
