Police Blotter: More DUI Patrols
Arrest reports from State Police Troop F, Troop E, and East Lyme Police Department for August 13-21

isn't the only police department to receive a grant for increased police sobriety checks this week. The East Lyme Police Department will be assisting Montville Police Department with sobriety checks August 23 and 24. Like Lyme, the increased patrols are funded by a grant from the Connecticut Department of Transportation's Comprehensive DUI Enforcement Program, from which Montville Police Department received $74,200.
In other news, police from Troop F in Old Lyme are investigating the burglary of a cottage on Billow Road. Thieves entered the cottage through an unlocked door and stole an Apple Macbook lap top computer between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on August 13.
