Police Blotter: Second Arrest Made in Connection with Tires Plus Robbery

Arrests recorded at State Police Troop F for July 18-21, 2012

Police arrested a second suspect in connection to a robbery that occurred at Tires Plus at 252 Flanders Road in East Lyme back in April.

New London Police arrested Nathaniel Mountzourez, 22, of 66 Jay Street, Apt. 8, New London, last week on a warrant issued by the East Lyme Police Department. He was charged with larceny in the third degree, trespass in the third degree, and conspiracy to commit larceny. Bond was set at $99,000.

On April 11, 2012, Robert P. Broga, 19, of 44 Cubles Drive, Niantic, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass in the third degree, and larceny in the third degree in connection with the same robbery. His bond was set at $75,000.

July 20

Nina Y. Finocchiaro, 21, of 109 Lamphere Road, Mystic, was arrested at exit 73 on I-95 North in East Lyme for driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, for failing to carry a license, and for failing to drive in the proper lane. Bond was set at $500.

July 21

Giovanni Bonelli (no birth date provided), of 27 Meech Avenue, Groton, was arrested by East Lyme Police on Main Street in Niantic during Celebrate East Lyme Day for attempting to take and destroying an item from a vendor. He was charged with breach of peace and attempt to commit larceny in the 6th degree. Bond was set at $500.
